Plein-air painting in Monteagle in May

Ahhhh......perfect weather in Tennessee.  Hanging around with creative friends.....eating, painting, sleeping, painting and eating and painting some more.  I love my life!

Saint Clare of Assisi

This painting is inspired by Saint Clare of Assisi......she left her wealthy family at age 18 and followed St. Francis of Assisi. St. Clare founded the 'Clares of the Poor' and her followers gave their lives to their beliefs. This painting is being submitted to The Kress Project in Georgia.

' Patches at Sunset '

I was paired up with 9 yr old Melissa to create a painting for a fundraiser for Childrens' Healthcare of Atlanta. We painted this horse and it was a big hit plus it brought in lots of money for a great cause! This subject was Melissa's idea, she helped paint it and named it! A beauty!
